Blogger Collaboration- The Weather

Our second blogger collab! This time, we chose the theme of the weather. I live in North Carolina, and it has been SO RAINY!!! In fact, 2018 was the record rainiest year since they started keeping records. Hurricane Florence played a big part in that, luckily here in Raleigh were I am we didn’t get much damage just lots and lots of rain!

So the polish I chose for this theme is Pahlish ?. That’s it’s name, ?

Doesn’t it look like stormy skies? I didn’t have time to stamp anything over it, it’s been a crazy week, but this polish is pretty on it’s own. It’s this cement colored gray with gold flecks.

Here’s a close up where you can really see the flecks, and it makes the polish so interesting!

It was easy to apply, as all Pahlishes tend to be.

To me, this just personifies the gray skies that have been our norm for way too long! In fact, yesterday my son’s field day at school was cancelled because it rained, and today was supposed to be nice, but it started out looking like rain. I didn’t, thank goodness, and we finally got some blue skies late in the afternoon- I even got to mow my lawn, even though it was super swampy, lol.

This was a mystery polish, so I don’t think you can get it, but there are other similar grays and gold flakie toppers, so if you like this look I”m sure you can replicate it!

Check out the other blogger’s blogs, they are really talented!

  1. It does look like a stormy Carolina sky! Also looks a bit like a wind storm in the fall with the leaves flying all over the place! Very pretty!!

  2. Really interesting nail polish 🙂 I’ve never seen anything similar, but you are wright – flakie top coat can help to replicate this nails 🙂
