I had to get free shipping at Target, so I checked out the polish offerings and came across these Sally Hansen Glow in the Dark polishes! They were inexpensive and cute so I picked up 4! First up is Gourd-gous! I tried this on on it’s own first.
Not really a wear on it’s own polish, lol, so then I put it over an orange China Glaze cream.
This is the only one of the polishes I got that have the glitters in it, I thought that was super fun. Here it is glowing in the dark (I charged them with a black light, then took the gitd pictures with my phone in the dark bathroom. Super high-tech, lol). This is really the only one that looked different than the others as this had those glitters in it. All the others looked pretty much the same, but they all have good gitd payoff!
Another couple pictures.
Then the green is Ghosted.
If you look you can see the little bar glitters, though they weren’t apparent in the gitd picture.
It’s funny you can see the polish where I didn’t clean up super well glowing, lolol.
I liked this one a lot! Then next up is purple potion. Again over a corresponding cream.
I like the pink shimmer this polish had. On all of these I did 2 coats of the Sally Hansen over 2 coats of the cream polish, if I used it.
Then the gitd and the regular pix.
Then last up the pink, Creep it Real. Probably my favorite name! I did try this first in 3 coats and got decent coverage.
Pretty opaque! And I love the sparkle. Here it is without the base and with the pink cream base color.
The pink cream was a little streaky, but the finished result is pretty.
See how all the gitd pix look the same? But as I said, strong glow factor! Here’s a couple more of Creep it Real, my fave because, well, pink!
All the polishes for this month are going to be Halloween themed! We’re off to a good start! Live your life with love in your heart and glitter on your nails!
