I’ve been struggling with thermals lately, a few I tried no longer transitioned and I was super bummed! So I got this, Fair Maiden Polish It’s So Fluffy! from Polish Pickup in August 2019 (the theme was Carnival), and I decided to wear it right away.
I knew getting this it wasn’t a super duper dramatic shift, it’s basically a really light pink to a darker pink. And it was super hot the days I wore this! Thanks North Carolina!
Here’s really the best picture I got of the shift, I love the darker pink it is when cold!
You can see the drops of water on my nails as I tried to force the change up in my hot nail room!
And the pink of the colder state. The flakies are so pretty in this polish! I did 3 coats.
Here’s just a side by side of kind of the colors it shifts to. It’s a really delicate looking polish, I really like this (these) colors!
Here’s the closeup, you can see the pretty shimmer this polish has.
And here’s the inspiration, from the movie Despicable Me! I love this movie, lol. It’s so FLUUUUFFFFFYYYYY!!! LOL
Fair Maiden is a brand I really like generally, and this one is no exception!
Polish Pickup happens the first full weekend of every month where you can find tons of polish by indie makers that are all based on a theme (like this one was Carnival). It’s such a fun way to get new polishes and try new brands! And shipping is only $3, even if you make multiple orders (you are charged the shipping at first, but when they go to actually ship and see you have multiple orders they refund the other order’s shipping so you only pay once).
Next is Glam Polish Wizarding Wars. I’m a huge fan of Glam Polish!
They really do flakie polishes so well. This was 3 coats to get the nice flakie build up.
Nine Zero Lacquer’s Mulled Wine is from her recent Falloween 2019 collection. It’s so pretty!
It’s a brownish burgundy with gold shimmer. Two coat formula, super easy to apply.
You can really see the shimmer, it’s so pretty.
Then I wore Celestial Polish Irr-elephant. Celestial is sadly not around anymore, but I really enjoy all the Celestials I have.
It’s a pretty soft pink holo with a great formula.
You can see the super sparse flakies in the close up, it gives the polish a little more to be interesting.
And this is The Don Deeva Indecisive Swag. I got this from a destash and hoped it still transitioned, and boy did it!
The beige/clear is warm, the black is cold. I love polish that’s a neutral with a twist like this.
The warm is on the left, the beige, and the cold is the black. I did 3 thin coats.
Live your life with love in your heart and glitter on your nails!
Loving the thermals, I do like a good thermal 😀
