This month (July 2018), Polish Pickup was on a break, so any indie brand who had participated in the past could bring back a polish. Ever After Polish brought back their gorgeous polish Playing with Fire- it was their January polish, the theme was crystals and gemstones, and this polish was based off a picture of a fire opal.

And soooooo, of course, like with all my Polish Pickup orders this month, I bought more than just the Polish Pickup polish!

On the left is Playing with Fire, then comes the Rogue Lacquer and Ever After Kronk and Yzma duo, Squeak Squeaker Squeakin and Scary Beyond all Reason. Have you ever seen the movie The Emperor’s New Groove? If you haven’t, I ~think~ it’s on Netflix, and you need to watch it!!!

Here are Yzma and Kronk, and he’s talking with the squirrel (where the Kronk polish name comes from)- and Yzma- is scary beyond all reason, lol.

It is such a great movie, so when I saw a duo about Yzma and Kronk  on Ever After’s website, I snapped it up! Plus, I’m big into Rogue Lacquer polishes too.

I have a lot of Ever After polishes (26 with these two), and I like most of them. I’ve been disappointed in a couple, but that happens with all brands, really. The swatches of Playing with Fire are gorgeous, and I LOVE black based polishes, so I can’t wait to wear it!
