This is so fun! I was asked to join a blogger collab that we’ll do once a month – I think there’s 8 of us! The first one is a bunch of questions, and I’ll have links to the other’s blogs so you can check them out too!

Here are the fun questions, and my answers.

1. What was your first nail polish? I don’t remember! Of course I had some old OPIs back in the day, but I don’t really remember what the first one was. I know I had Royal Rajah Ruby, You Don’t Know Jacques, and I’m Not Really a Waitress. Picture of I’m Not Really a Waitress by 25Sweetpeas- it’s really a classic shade!

2. Do you remember when your nail art journey began? Absolutely! I work in a college, and in Winter 2014-Spring 2015 one of our students was a student worker in my department, and she always had gorgeous nails. I asked her to show me how to stamp, she brought all her stamping stuff in, and down the rabbit hole I went!

3. What is your favorite nail art technique? Stamping- I’m not great at it, but I’m better at that than anything else, lol.

4. What is your favorite nail shape? I like squovals on me, but I’d love to have those long stiletto nails. They’re not practical for my life, but they sure are gorgeous!

5. Would you ever wear artificial nails? I did for my first wedding, nearly 30 years ago, lol, but I feel like my nails get long enough on their own and I don’t need them.

6. What is your favorite mainstream brand? It’s a tie between OPI and China Glaze.

7. What is your favorite indie brand? That’s a toughie! I love Tonic, but there’s tons more I love as well. Illyrian, Rogue, 1850, The Don Deeva, Ethereal, Lollipop Posse…..wow, I could go on and on about my favorites!

8. What is your favorite nail polish finish? Shimmer and flakies!

9. What is your holy grail nail product? Nailtiques 2. It has totally helped my nails grow and be strong. I always have it on even when I don’t have polish!

10. Favorite top coat and base coat? Favorite base coat is Orly Bonder, favorite top coat is Seche Vite.
