I got a couple of the China Glaze OMG Flashback polishes on clearance at Ulta, and boy are they great! This is BFF on the left and IDK on the right.
Both polishes were easy to work with. I’d heard that it was easy to get bald spots when you add coats (like it will pull at the previous coats and make bald spots), but I didn’t have any issues at all.
I did 3 coats on both just kind of out of habit. They probably both would have been fine at 2 coats.
The holo! Super strong and fun! It’s easy to get spoiled by indies, but these really hold their own and look amazing, especially in the sun! This is IDK, see how great it looks in the sun!
I wasn’t into doing my nails when the original OMG Holos came out, so I don’t have any of them to compare to these, but I really like these a lot!
IDK really reminded me of the Color Club Halo Hues Eternal Beauty, so I did a comparison!
Eternal beauty is on the left 2 fingers (middle and pointer) and ring and pinky finger on the right have IDK. The color is spot on, I think the difference is the holo- the Color Club has a little more of a scattered effect, while the China Glaze is more linear. Here’s a bottle shot.
I think BFF is my fave, I like that tone of red purple a lot, but they’re both gorgeous!
