I am so so excited to show you these polishes! Mardi of Supermoon Lacquer chose me and a couple others to swatch her new collection, it’s an add on to her Sailor Moon collection from 2017. These are press samples, but this post is not sponsored at all and my opinions are my own.
The preorder starts Friday, January 10 and ends Wednesday January 14. The website is here Supermoon Lacquer. These are great winter vampy delicious shades you need in your life! Also, 6 polishes from the original Sailor Moon collection will be available (4 are retired and no longer offered).
Here are some bottle shots!
First up is Shadow Galactica’s Soldier. This is described as a dark red holo base with color shifting shimmer, microflakies and holographic gold and red microglitter.
I LOVE this polish- this color is everything! I had like 5 minutes of sun in NC this past weekend, and I got some sunlight pictures of this collection, and I got this picture in the sun where the holo really shines.
I love these rusty red holo polishes. I did 2 coats of this one and the formula was super easy to work with. The macro was also in the sun, see the holo?? So pretty!
Next up is Death Buster’s Mistress. This is a dark blue base with color shifting shimmer and some silver microflakies.
You can kind of see those silver microflakies in the pictures.
It’s got a midnight blue look to it. This one was a one coater. All of these polishes are close to a one coater, but this one definitely is good in one coat.
It’s a gorgeous color blue.
Next is Dead Moon’s Queen. It’s a blackened teal holographic with color shifting shimmer and some microglitter.
It has a gray tone to it, with the teal- I really enjoy this color.
In the picture on the left above you can really see the teal shift to this, I love the blackened base.
So I wanted to see how it compared to Death Buster’s Mistress. They’re definitely different, but I sometimes like to see the colors next to each other.
I got this picture in the sun, the top two fingers are Death Buster’s Mistress, the bottom two nails (ring and pinky) are Dead Moon’s Queen. You can see those little flecks of silver flakies in both polishes. You can definitely see that Death Buster’s Mistress is more blue and Dead Moon’s Queen is more teal.
Dark Kingdom’s Commander is the dark purple of the collection. It has purple and red shimmer and holo with microflakies and microglitter! A lot going on, lol.
Again, it has those silver flecks, such a deep rich purple!
Here it is in the sunshine
It’s a blue leaning purple, as compared to the next polish, Black Moon’s Lady, which is a red leaning purple.
And last but not least is Black Moon’s Lady. Described as a red-violet holo base with color shifting shimmer, purple sparks, neon pink microflakies and some microglitter.
This is my favorite type of purple, the red leaning ones. This is a gorgeous polish. Heck, they’re all gorgeous.
2 coats (I did 2 coats for everything but Death Buster’s Mistress, that was 1 coat).
Here’s a sunlight picture. Again the flecks of silver, so pretty!
I compared it to Dark Kingdom’s Commander, just because I personally like to see the same colors next to each other- like if a collection has 2 purples or 2 blues or whatever, I like to see them next to each other.
Dark Kingdom’s Commander on pointer and ring fingers, Black Moon’s lady on middle and pinky fingers.
Do I have a favorite? Hmmmm, probably Shadow Galactica’s Soldier or Black Moon’s Lady- but I really like all of these polishes. I highly recommend all of them!
Each polish is $11 or you can buy all 5 polishes for $52. Go join The Howling Boutique’s Wolf Pack on FB, her fan group, and you’ll be in on all the deets!
Live your life with love in your heart and glitter on your nails!
Wow these are all lovely <3
