Here’s the pictures of the polishes!
L-r Nine Zero Black Cat Optional, Fancy Gloss Mistress of Evil, OPNL Saudade, Polish M Heads Will Roll, Quixotic Cauldron Bubble, Nine Zero B Positive
Nine Zero Spooky Sprinkles, Nail Hoot Hocus Pocus, Polish M Deadly Intentions, Nine Zero Ectoplasm, Pretty Serious Bloody Bride
These are in no particular order. First up is Nail Hoot Hocus Pocus- matte! I rarely ever look at a mani and think I’d like it even better matte, but this is one! Here it is first glossy then matte.
Isn’t it great matte? I love how it makes the purple glitter pop a little more.
Next is Bloody Bride by Pretty Serious. It’s a gorgeous polish, but man was it a pain to work with! It was super thick and chunky. I love the finished look of it – probably if I thinned it it would be better.
Here’s the closeup- my co-worker saw this picture and said, “oh, what a beautiful polish!” And I said, “yes, it was a total pita!!!” LOL
But super pretty!
I had a bunch of Nine Zero polishes from last year to try! First up is Ectoplasm. I loved this one! Super easy bright green crelly with Halloween glitters!
Here’s what ectoplasm really looks like, according to the movie Ghostbusters!
So of course, I stamped it with ghosts!
These were the scariest ghosts I had! I love Nine Zero’s glitter crellies, and this is a great one for Halloween.
Here’s a dark vampy shade from Octopus Party Nail Lacquer- he doesn’t have a shop, he just sells through his FB fan page, the Octosquad! This is Saudade, which means a feeling of longing, melancholy or nostalgia. This is such a deep brown with a gorgeous shimmer!
I love shades like this for fall, especially!
You can kind of see the gold shimmer in the pictures. It really is a pretty polish!
Here’s Polish M Heads will Roll. This was a super neutral polish, but with pizzazz. I liked it!
You can see in this picture more of what’s going on in the polish.
I have nothing like this at all in my collection!
Fancy Gloss Mistress of Evil is a gorgeous thermal, I got it from Polish Pickup September 2019 Magic and Alchemy month- but thought it would be a gorgeous Halloween polish!
It is super reactive! I’ve been bummed out lately with some thermals that aren’t reactive anymore (I know they die, but it’s still a bummer!)- and I’d heard great things about Fancy Gloss thermals. So far, I agree, it’s a great one! Here’s an awesome closeup- look at all the flakies! I also wanted to put the picture showing how dark the tips got (ignore the cat hairs, lololol)- and how pretty and iridescent the polish looks!
Then comes Nine Zero Spooky Sprinkles, another great glitter crelly!
I stamped bats on this one. And you can see the cool glitters in the closeup!
Next is Quixotic Cauldron Fire, a magnetic! It’s a gorgeous green. I always struggle with getting any sort of sharp line, even though I use the magnet after every coat and top coat. But it’s still a pretty polish and you can definitely tell it’s magnetic!
I loved this closeup shot I got.
And I stamped silver spiders over it! Creepy!
Polish M Deadly Intentions was new to me this year (along with Heads will Roll), and it’s absolutely gorgeous!
A beautiful blurple full coverage glitter, just truly gorgeous.
Love this polish!!
Next is Nine Zero B Positive (like the blood type, get it? B+??? LOLOLOL
It’s a crelly with black shreds, so creepy looking!
This picture is in the sunlight. It was a little thick, I smudged my middle finger, but this is a great Halloween polish!
And last but not least, one last Nine Zero polish! Black Cat Optional! It’s a glitter- and I really should have just worn it on it’s own. I put it over black and white, and it’s fine, but I think alone would be better.
I love the glitter mix! I stamped a cat- I totally thought I had more Halloweeny cat stamping plates, but I didn’t- and you can see where the top coat smudged me, bummer. I do think I’d like this polish more on it’s own!
So there were my Halloween polishes for the month! So fun! I picked up a few that are on my list to wear next year.
Live your life with love in your heart and glitter on your nails!
