Ethereal has prototype sales all the time, and I bought Opal Juice. I love a good orange polish! And I love flakies.

So I put it on, 3 coats, and this is what I got.

And I was like, well, it’s sheer, 3 coats is THICK, who would ever wear this………THEN IT DAWNED ON ME!!!  Ummmm…..duh, Nicki, it’s a TOPPER!!! LOL. So I grabbed OPI’s Hot & Spicy, and put it over that and viola! 

 

Amazing orange!  I did 1 coat of Hot and Spicy and 2 thin coats of Opal Juice.

Here is a close up of just Opal Juice in 3 coats on it’s own, I feel like that really shows the flakies. It is a really cool topper!

So I generally don’t “do” toppers, but this is cool! I felt like I got it evenly spread over my nails, which is what my complaint with toppers usually is.

Here is one more picture. I really like this look- I feel like it’s good for summer, bright and fun, but you could also do a great Halloween mani with it!
