This polish, Great Lakes Lacquer Redrum, was their September 2018 Polish Pickup’s polish for the theme horror movies. This was based on the movie The Shining. I’ve never seen that movie, but the polish was beautiful!

It’s a maroony red with a smidge of purple maybe?

It was a great formula! 2 easy coats. The only other Great Lakes Lacquer polish I’ve tried so far (though I’ve bought more!) was the Polish Pickup polish Glass on Fire, which I adore- but that was a jelly base and I did 3 coats for that, while this isn’t a jelly so I just needed 2 coats.

You can kind of also see the holo flakies, I guess, that are in the polish, which gives it a great sparkle in the sun!

So far, I’ve been impressed with Great Lakes Lacquer polishes!
