This was a Polish Pickup polish for the month of September (2018). The theme was Horror Movies, and this polish was based on the movie IT. Now, I’m more of a suspenseful/creepy movie person, not full on blood and guts horror, so I have neither seen the movie or read the book. But I can appreciate an amazing polish when I see it!

I actually didn’t get this at Polish Pickup, I won it from a contest JReine did for people who bought their Hella Handmade Creation Polish, Sweet Snow. Anyone who bought that was put into a drawing for Hiya Georgie, and I won!

The contrast is amazing from the red (cold state) to the yellow (warm) state. I was able to literally show my boss how cold my office was with my nail polish, lol.

The formula was super easy to work with. I did do 3 coats so it would be opaque in the yellow state.

I got tons of compliments on the polish, that contrast is so cool! Someone did compare it to old school McDonald’s, which I think is fair based on both the colors and the clown that inspired it! LOL

I only recently tried JReine because of Polish Pickup, but I can say now that I am truly a fan! If all her polishes are similar to this one, they will be awesome!

Polish Pickup is held the first weekend of every month, where tons of indie makers make a polish with a certain theme in mind (like this one was Horror Movies). You can purchase them only for that very first weekend. The shipping is only $3 (in the US), and they combine shipping so it’s only ever $3. So you would get charged shipping if you make a second order (or third or fourth, no judgement here!), but shipping for those orders is refunded when orders actually start shipping. I highly recommend it!
