This is Pahlish’s Polish Pickup offering from August based on a musical episode of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. I’ve never seen that show, but maaaaaan, this color!!! It was a last minute decision on my part, and one I am so glad I picked up!
It’s a hot pink glitter with some flakies- did I mention hot pink??
I did 2 coats, and it was completely opaque. It wasn’t too thick of a formula.
Here’s a closeup, it is a really cool polish.
I did do 2 coats of qdtc just to smooth everything out. And then I stamped over it!
I used a Cici & Sisi Blue and White Porcelain stamping plate- they’re acrylic plates instead of metal- it stamped great! I’m definitely going to try more from them!
The stamping polish is from Powder Perfect, it’s just their light pink stamping polish, though it really looks white. I used a Lantern and Wren clear stamper (I did have to prime it by washing it in soapy water and lightly running a fine buffer over the surface, but after that it picked up perfectly!). Here’s a little closer up of the stamping, I used 2 different images.
This is going on my favorite polishes of 2018 list (man, there have been a lot of favorites!). And I’m getting a bit more into stamping, which is fun! Once I get my groove back, it really doesn’t take long to do.
I googled The Nightman Cometh episode from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and here’s a picture- have no idea what it means, lol, but here it is!
Polish Pickup is great, I love all the cool things they come up with! It’s a monthly gig where tons of indie sellers sell polishes around a theme (like August 2018’s theme was musicals), and you can buy all the polish you want for $3 shipping! They combine orders and refund any shipping over $3 (US). I have so enjoyed shopping Polish Pickup each month, even if I do have to limit myself, lol.
Live your life with love in your heart and glitter on your nails!
