First up, BKL Arrested Yet Sassy. This was one of their Lore Olympus mysteries from the Lore Olympus collection in 2022. So this is a spoiler, but it’s been more than 2 years since it released, so I feel safe, lol.

IT’s a beautiful sheer yellow polish with that orange glowy shimmer running through it.

Three coats, and still tons of VNL. That is not always my jam, but when it is, BKL does a spectacular job of sheer polishes! And of course, you can always wear an undie- this is not getting opaque on it’s own (maybe in 14 coats?? LOL).

The orange shimmer is super pretty in this polish. I like yellow polishes a lot!

Great formula, great polish!

Then I pulled out an Elevation- Sunset Among the Palms. I don’t have too many Elevation polishes, and every one I do have has come from destashes. I found blog posts with new Elevation polishes from 2015 I think, but nothing after (though I admit I didn’t spend a lot of time looking, I got distracted by some of the blogs I found the polishes on! And wished they were still around- Ida Nails It, Adventures in Acetone- but you know who is still going strong??? Cosmetic Sanctuary! I found some Elevation Polish blog posts from 2013!! So amazing!) Anyways, here’s the polish!

Such a pretty color! This was three thin coats. This polish is from the Hawaiian Punch collection from 2014. It might have been a bit more purple back in the day, though it’s described as magenta. In any case, I do love this color!

And it has teeny tiny little flake in it, and holo. Super pretty.

I love how that flake in the polish adds just a little something.

Really a lovely polish.

Last up is Night Owl Lacquer Acid Pops from their 2018 Honeydukes Sweets collection (Honeydukes is the sweet shop from Harry Potter. I love a bright green!

And how is 2018 six years ago???? LOL. This formula was fine- a touch sheer still on three coats.

But less sheer in real life than in pictures. I love this color!

Super great spring/summer color (though I wear what I want when I want, lol- I do fall ~mostly~ in line with wearing polish seasonally. Although as I speak, it’s nearing 100 degrees and I’m wearing black nail polish!)
