Try More Thursday- Valentine’s Day Manis-Cirque Shopaholic, Drunk Fairy Zuzu’s Petals and M&N Polish Pink Sugar Heart Attack

So I did a rack for Spring- making rows for more wintery polish, some for Valentine’s Day, some for St. Patrick’s Day, and some just light blue for March’s birthstone, aquamarine. So these polishes are from the Valentine’s section, lol.

First I pulled out Cirque Shopaholic. It’s BRIGHT!

This is two coats- I knew I was going to be doing a topper, so I wasn’t super duper concerned with opacity, though I think it was really opaque in 2 coats.

The formula was not my favorite, for sure. It didn’t self level really well (it ultimately got there), and it was maybe a smidge patchy. I couldn’t get a close up of just this polish, it totally freaked my camera out, lol.

Then I decided to use a topper, Drunk Fairy’s Zuzu’s Petals. This is AMAZING. I LOVE it so much!!

It has iridescent flakies and a smattering of holo. I love this. Usually iridescent toppers look almost pitted on top of the polish. This one is sparkly and just gorgeous.

I used a water decal for the heart- I had cut out three hearts to put randomly on my ring finger, but messed up two of them so I said heck with it, lol. I only wanted the topper on one finger and then did the “French tips” look on the other nails.

Here’s the closeup of the topper. I think that smattering of holo just really elevates it!!

So I wore this on February 13, and as I looked at it at work, I just really did not like Shopaholic on my skin tone. So I took it off, and had my son pick another pink from my Valentine’s polishes on my rack. He is a good picker! He chose M&N Pink Sugar Heart Attack. I’ve wanted to wear this for awhile! It’s a stunner!

This is totally my vibe. Love love love the color.

It was opaque in 2 coats! I thought for sure it would be more sheer than it was, but it was great!

Hot pink is just the best. I love the shimmer in this polish. It’s sooo so pretty.

So this is my official Valentine’s Day mani. I didn’t have time to do any more nail “art” (if you can call water decals nail art lol). I love this color so much, it’s definitely in the running for favorite of the year, and it’s only February!!
