Peppermint Bark is awesome. I love this polish (by Nailed It). It completely embodies peppermint bark.
You can see how the white base has some shimmer in it, and I was afraid I wouldn’t like that, but I really do! It makes the polish super festive.
I did three coats, the base is nice and white and the red flakies really stand out.
It just looks Christmassy, doesn’t it?
Then I pulled out Don Deeva’s Uggs and Kisses.
It’s fine. Not my favorite, but pretty enough. The formula was fine, the finish was textured a bit so if I were to wear it for a while I would probably wear a glitter grabber with it, or a couple coats of top coat.
I ~think~ I only did two coats, but can’t remember for sure. I like the color, but it’s a bit neutral for my personal taste.
Definitely neutral with a sparkly twist, though.
Then I wore Femme Fatale’s Treat Yo’ Elf.
I didn’t really like this polish. The formula was not great, and I felt it looked unreasonable lumpy.
You can really see what I mean on the middle finger. I did do three coats, I felt the base was still patchy in 2 and I typically do three coats for crellies anyways.
So, meh, and the glitter mix was underwhelming too.
So Peppermint Bark was my clear winner of these three polishes! But fun for the holidays, all of them. Live your life with love in your heart and glitter on your nails!
