Nine Zero Lacquer just put out a collection of nail polish based on the new Animal Crossing game. I don’t play, but the polishes are super super cute! This is R-E-C-Y-C-L-E, a pink crelly with different sized blue, orange and purple glitters. I wore this for Easter, I thought it was super springy and fun!
This was a super thick polish, I did struggle a little with it, but if I had thinned it, it would be easier to work with.
I ended up doing one regular coat, then a really thick coat. If I had thinned it, I would have done 3 thin coats. But it turned out all right.
I love the glitters in this, and the pink base color. It’s so cute!
Then I wore Heather’s Hues The Deepest Kind of Love. This was from March 2018’s Polish Pickup. The theme that month was books, and this was inspired by the book “Where the Red Fern Grow.” Have you ever read that book? It’s so so so good- you will for sure cry (you could watch the movie too). And this polish is super gorgeous!
It’s a gorgeous glowy blue that leans a little on the teal side. I did three thin coats.
The formula was divine, this is a gorgeous polish, I love the book reference- just all around amazing.
It’s a smidge sheer on three coats, but really not noticeable in real life.
This was my first Heather’s Hues polish I’ve tried, though I own two others. This was for sure a great first impression!
Polish Pickup happens the first full weekend of every month where you can find tons of polish by indie makers that are all based on a theme. It’s such a fun way to get new polishes and try new brands! And shipping is only $3, even if you make multiple orders (you are charged the shipping at first, but when they go to actually ship and see you have multiple orders they refund the other order’s shipping so you only pay once).
Live your life with love in your heart and glitter on your nails!
Oh wow, I do love that pink 😀
