Sooooo, my excuse is that I’m in grad school and trying to keep up, lol. Here’s what I wore for Thanksgiving and Christmas in 2021! I didn’t do nail art or crazy stuff- no time- but wanted my nails done of course!
For Thanksgiving I wore Bee’s Knees Lacquer Bring Your Appetite. Heee heee. It was soooo sheer! I did 4 coats, yes, 4. They were easy coats and dried fast, but that’s a lot of coats!
It’s a lovely, but as I mentioned, sheer! I thought maybe it had UP, but it doesn’t. It’s just a thin formula.
I do love this shade of purple. I love the pink shift it has!
So it’s a good polish, and it was a fun name for Thanksgiving!
Then I wore Nine Zero Lacquer’s Fully Decked. She made this polish several years ago, and in her video for it she said she wanted a polish that represented a fully decorated Christmas tree, and boy does it!
It is so freakin’ sparkly! I did three coats to make it fully opaque.
This polish is truly amazing. If Nine Zero offers this again, I am definitely buying a backup bottle- it does take a bit of polish to get this fully opaque, and I’m uncomfortable when a fave polish develops a significant fill line, lol.
Doesn’t it look like a Christmas tree all lit up??? I love it.
Then I wore a topper by Different Dimension called Don’t Be the Santa of Everything. LOL. I used a basic white and OPI’s That’s Hula-rious is the light green. It’s a fun topper!
I LOVE polishes and toppers with those big circle glitters even though most of the time I have to do some fishing for them. This wasn’t too bad as far as getting those big circles out of the bottle.
More pictures because it’s fun, lol
I also liked the mix of sizes and shapes of the glitters- circles, squares, hexes, along with the giant circles. I thought that was a super cool combo.
And then I put on Fancy Gloss’ Candy Cane. I have several polishes like this one by different brands, but this one BY FAR transitions the best. I thought I might change it but I really liked it and since it was hard to find the time to switch and I just really liked this polish- and it stayed looking great- I just kept it on for nearly a week!
Isn’t it adorable? I love the red and white glitter mix in the clearish to red thermal base.
I did three coats, my usual with thermals, and the formula was great. A good mix of glitters!
And I like how red the thermal base gets, a good Christmas red!
Some beautiful polishes! So that’s what was on my nails for Thanksgiving and Christmas! I love how there are amazing polishes that look beautiful without having to take the time for nail art. I love nail art, but it’s just something I don’t have time for right now!
Live your life with love in your heart and glitter on your nails!
