Phew! Did 2021 go by as fast for you as it did for me? I finished my Master’s Degree in Human Resources and started my MBA (I’ll be finished with that in a couple of months). Of course, kids, hubby and job also kept me busy! I didn’t have a ton of mainstream polish faves- just 6, actually.

So here’s my top pick, and then the rest of them are in no particular order! Top pick was OPI Mylar Dreams from their Celebration Holiday 2021 collection. It’s a hot pink holo, and truly a one coat polish (and I really only did one coat!). I loved this so much I gave it to a group of friends for a gift exchange, lol.

It is a beautiful shade of pink! It’s not super holo, but it’s still so pretty!

I actually did like all the holos from this collection. This last picture was taken in the sun.

Next polish is China Glaze Purpletonium- in fact, that whole China Glaze X-tra Stellar Halloween collection was awesome. But of course, purple.

It dries to a satin matte finish, and I love this shade of blue-leaning purple.

The formula was easy- not too fast drying, like mattes can sometimes be.

Next is OPI Rainbows in Your Fuchsia, from the OPI Hidden Prisms Infinite Shine collection. This was on sale at transdesign.com, so I picked up a bunch! I liked the all- but of course, the pink stole my heart!

It was a three coat polish, but easy coats and great opacity!

This is a bright pink, but not a bluish tinged pink, which is why I like it so much!

Let’s do the only Essie- Miami Nice.

Cause it’s just perfection. This was a close second to Mylar Dreams for first place!

That hot pink, though! I love the formula too. So pretty! Three coats.

The shimmer is so pretty in this polish!

Then, another OPI- Embarca Dare Ya. This is an OLD polish, lol. It’s from the 2013 Fall/Winter San Francisco collection. I bought it on sale at Sallys probably in 2016 or so, when I first started getting into nail polish and just bought anything and everything that caught my eye- and this year I finally wore it, and I love it!!!!

I just love the deep pinky red with the silvery shimmer. And the formula was still amazing!

I just love this color.

And last but not least, another OPI- Strawberry Waves Forever from their Malibu Collection for Summer 2021. Is anyone surprised that these are mainly pink, with one purple? I do have a type, lololol. Though this is honestly a reddish coral, so see? Variety!

The formula was great on this!

Just a great, bright, summery color.

So here are my top mainstream polishes for 2021!!! I can’t wait to see what 2022 brings!
