Nail Mail- March 2019 Polish Pickup

Okay, now that April Polish Pickup is in the books, here’s my March haul! The theme of Polish Pickup was Album Covers (side note, I’m still bitter that my DH made me throw all my albums away when we moved in 2001. I did hang on to all my cassette tapes!)

L-r Dollish Polish A Strange Day (based on the Cure), Baroness X Bow to the Paper Gods (based on Duran Duran’s album Paper Gods), Bluebird Lacquer Go Ask Alice (based on Alice in Chains), Heather’s Hues Take These Chances (based on DMB Under the Table and Dreaming), and JReine Skkurred (inspired by Skrillex)

So I got the Dollish, Bluebird and JReine because I love the colors (I went back for the Bluebird because I just couldn’t pass up an amazing hot pink), the Baroness X I bought because I was a HUGE Duran Duran fan back in the day (I saw them in concert in 1987! I almost touched John Taylor!!!), and I got the Heather’s Hues because I am a HUGE Dave Matthew’s Band fan- I’ve seen them 8 times? Maybe 9? So it was just a bonus that I really loved the polishes too. This is the first time, I think, that I just had to have polishes because of what they were based on.

Polish Pickup happens the first full weekend of every month (the next one is May 3- May 6, 2019) where you can find tons of polish by indie makers that are all based on a theme (like this one was Album Covers). It’s such a fun way to get new polishes and try new brands! And shipping is only $3, even if you make multiple orders (you are charged the shipping at first, but when they go to actually ship and see you have multiple orders they refund the other order’s shipping so you only pay once).

Live your life with love in your heart and glitter on your nails!
